DoneCove Subtitles: Translate and Review Existing SRT Files

Translate an existing SRT subtitle file, review the text cue by cue, and export translated-only or bilingual subtitles. DoneCove keeps the workflow separate from generating subtitles from audio.

File requirements and workflow

The product page specifies UTF-8 SRT input, up to 500 KB, 3,000 cues and 100,000 source characters for cloud translation. Choose the source and target language, add recurring names to the glossary, review each result, and save a line to lock that edit before retranslating.

The separate browser-only SRT checker checks file structure; it does not translate or prove synchronization with your video. Play the exported SRT with the original video before delivery.

Trial and purchase limits

The current public pricing lists one trial per account, limited to 30 cues and 1,200 source characters. One-time packs list 100,000 source characters for $5 or 500,000 for $15, with no automatic renewal. We checked the public offer, not a purchase.

The terms distinguish credits from project retention: project files are kept for up to seven days; credits have no fixed expiry. Retranslation uses credits again, and undelivered lines are not charged.

Check a representative excerpt

Start with a short passage containing names and a long subtitle line. Compare meaning, cue numbers, timestamps and reading length; lock your corrections, then export the required language layout. Published samples are provider evidence, not an independent translation-quality test by AI Tool Finder.
