Organize the task, then decide what to delegate
Hark describes a persistent personal conversation, Projects for longer undertakings, Panels built from instructions, and Handoff, a computer-use agent with its own browser. These are developer-described capabilities, not our measured task success rates. Official product overview.
Use a Project when travel research or a job search needs a separate thread. A Panel suits a recurring view or small custom utility. Handoff suits a bounded browser task, but a research request and permission to book, order or send are separate decisions.
Web, iOS and Android access
The official site offers browser access. The Apple listing from Hark Labs Inc. and Google Play listing provide mobile entry points. The developer describes shared capabilities across platforms, including Projects, connected services and Handoff.
Apple labels the download free with in-app purchases. That is not unlimited free service. We could not verify a complete general plan contract from the official pricing route on October 7; regional in-app prices are not a substitute. “Hark Pro” is the product name, not proof of a particular paid tier. We make no promise about remaining launch benefits, quota or trial duration.
Authorization and data boundaries
Hark says it checks before actions needing approval. Review the actual target, account, price and action before authorizing purchases, bookings or messages. Connected accounts and saved credentials widen what an assistant can do; do not authorize an open-ended task when you only want a shortlist. Hark’s Handoff and security descriptions.
The developer’s statements about protected credentials do not establish that all conversations are end-to-end encrypted or inaccessible to all people. Apple marks app privacy information as developer-provided, not Apple-verified. Read the privacy policy and current permissions before adding private material.
A bounded starting brief
Fictional brief, not run: “In a Project for a weekend workshop, compare three venue options from the information I supply. List capacity, price and cancellation uncertainties. Do not contact venues, book, log in or pay.” Check dates and prices yourself before expanding the task.
