October 2026 update: Gemini 4 Argon
Limited rollout — not broadly available. Google is rolling Gemini 4 Argon out to selected trusted cyber defenders through its Fairwind Program. General developer, enterprise and consumer access has not yet opened; Google describes paid API customers and AI Ultra subscribers as a future rollout starting point.
Google announces introductory pricing of $2 per 1M input tokens and $10 per 1M output tokens, with cached input at 95% off the input price. It lists $4/$20 after the introductory period. Public pricing does not mean all developers can call the model now.
The launch article specifies a 1M output-token limit, up from 64K. This is not a statement that the input context window is 1M. A general public API model ID and complete input-limit contract are not confirmed here.
Google reports coding, enterprise knowledge and defensive-cyber capabilities, benchmark results, internal memory savings and code-migration gains. These are Google-reported findings, not AI Tool Finder tests; we did not independently reproduce their methodology or outcomes.
