From a podcast link to text you can work with
SpotScribe turns supported podcast links into transcripts, summaries and a question-and-answer workflow. Use it to locate a passage or prepare notes, then check the relevant audio before quoting. This is a profile of spotscribe.io, not an independent accuracy test.
The welcome page presents Spotify, Apple and open podcast links, YouTube and other video links, and audio/video uploads. It describes summaries and AI chat alongside transcription. Availability depends on the source; a listed input type is not proof that every URL can be processed.
The Spotify guide calls for a separate SpotScribe account and says connecting Spotify or holding Spotify Premium is not required. That does not authorize access to private or paywalled material.
Limited free trial; the advertised credit count conflicts
The homepage says three introductory credits, while the Spotify page says five. Both were checked October 5, 2026. Treat this as a limited free trial and use the terms in your account; we do not promise either number.
The rendered pricing table lists Free podcast episodes up to 60 minutes and YouTube videos up to 10 minutes. Paid monthly examples: Essential $6.99 / 300 credits / two-hour podcasts; Growth $9.99 / 1,000 credits / three-hour podcasts; Pro $19.99 / 3,000 credits / five-hour podcasts. Check the selected billing period, source type and processing mode before spending credits. These are listed terms, not measured throughput.
Exports and plan differences
In the current table, Free includes copy/download, summaries, chat and PDF, DOCX, SRT and TXT export. Spotify exclusives, speaker diarization, translation, Precise Mode and priority support are marked excluded on Free and included on the displayed paid plans.
Some episodes remain unavailable, as the homepage FAQ acknowledges. Neither paid access nor a visible export option guarantees that your chosen episode will work. No universal Spotify coverage, accuracy percentage or unlimited transcription claim is made here.
Use it for notes; verify before publishing
- Confirm you may process the source, then check that the episode is supported and fits your current limits.
- Review the account's credit quote and selected mode before submitting.
- Use a summary or chat question to find a relevant passage, then listen at the corresponding timestamp.
- Correct names, numbers and quotations before exporting or sharing. Check subtitle timing if you choose SRT.
Consider SpotScribe for episode research and searchable notes. Skip it when you require guaranteed coverage of restricted sources or unreviewed publication-ready transcripts. We did not create an account, submit media, transcribe an episode or benchmark accuracy.
